Foreign Language & Area Studies fellowships are funded by the U.S. Department of Education and administered by UW-Madison’s National Resource Centers including CREECA at UW-Madison. FLAS awards are only available for specific languages, including those offered through CESSI, and are contingent on federal funding. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Learn more about the FLAS Fellowship at one of 5 virtual information sessions this November, December, and January.
